I thought that the Tips and Tricks chapter was really comprehensive in that it covered a wide variety of useful tidbits. This is very good for the person who want s just info on using the iPhone...not like a "tech" book.
It's installed on my iPhone 7 and so far, whenever I have a "how do I..." question, the answer is there.

I am very computer challenged so when I got my iPhone 7, which is my first iPhone, I needed help. This guide was of very little help to me and I ended up going to another source to learn some of the things I had questions about how to do.
Bought it because I needed a comprehensive road map to a new 7 Plus. OK, let's start with the camera department. Minimal information, generically given. No luck in seeking an explanation to HDR at the top of the photo screen (new to Iphone) in the photo chapter, so went to index. Nothing. (Went to Google, OK, there's the answer) In particular, the Index was so inadequate........e.g., dozens of topics indexed under "U". Why? Because it's the first letter in "Using". I've read a lot in a lot of years, am technically fairly competent, and have never seen one this bad. Went to Barnes and Noble nearby, glanced at David Poque's Iphone manual. found all I wanted in three minutes, bought his book.
I gave this two stars, because I didn't read most of it. Don't doubt it would have earned one if I had.
